This week we continued to talk about Letter writing and practiced writing letters to teachers and to our friendsWe also started to talk about articles, the format and organization and we started to brainstorm ideas that we would like to write about

This week we have been talking about addition and subtraction strategies through number talksWe have talked about how many different ways there are to solve one equation
Science
This week we have been talking about the Great Pacific Garbage patchAsk your child about what this is and why it is a problem for everyone around the worldWe are making posters around the garbage patch
Social
We have been talking about the geography of Alberta and the natural resources here as well
